A Womens Organizing & Advocacy Center
We guide women to develop sustainable roles as small business owners, grassroots organizers, and public policy leaders as they seek justice and pursue their dreams.
We believe in local experimentation that can feed curious and open minds, seed projects and strategies, lead women to success and solidarity, and speed meaningful change.
To achieve those ends, we work with low-to-moderate income women who have faced wage theft, harassment, human trafficking, or other abuses as they seek justice and pursue their dreams.
We advocate for local and state policies to enhance opportunity and dignity at work. We support union and community organizing as the most vibrant form of continuing education and compassionate engagement that exists.
We build a network of low-income women driven to make change in their lives and communities. And we assist these women to develop sustainable roles as small business owners, grassroots organizers and public policy leaders—leaders whose experiences can no longer be ignored and whose voices will be heard.
We are a partner in women’s efforts to build a strong movement for justice.
